Along with Santa visiting, Olde Tyme Travel will also be providing free horse drawn carriage rides around downtown and the High School Choir will be performing as well. Veteran’s Day “Cup of Joe” As a way of saying “Thank You” to our area Veteran’s we are inviting them and our patrons to a “Cup of Joe” time. On Thursday, November 7th, 2024 from 10:30 am - 12 pm coffee and cookies will be served in the main area of the library. Patrons and Veterans are invited to stop in for conversation and comradery. Veterans will also receive a token of appreciation from the library. Authors to Visit in November We will be having two author visits in November!! Starting off with Kevin Moore and Kristina Smith, authors of Unnatural Ohio, on Thursday, November 14th at 6:30 pm. Then on Tuesday, November 26th we welcome author and illustrator T.L. McBeth at 5 pm. McBeth is the author and illustrator of “Randy, the Badly Drawn Horse” and “Robot Love”. The first 50 families will receive a copy of his new book “I am NOT Santa Claus!” Both visits will take place in the Wolfe Community Room and the authors will be available to sign their works. No books will be sold during McBeth’s visit, so please plan accordingly. View and Chew The FREE monthly show for November will be the 2nd half of the Netflix series “Nobody Wants This” starring: Kristen Bell and Adam Brody . This follows the unexpected relationship between Noah a newly single rabbi and Joanne (Kristen Bell), an outspoken, agnostic woman . The series will be shown on Thursday, November 21st with a start time of 6 pm at The Virginia Theater (119 N. Main St.) The theater doors will open at 5:30 pm. Concessions will be available for purchase. We look forward to seeing you there.
